Writing a bicentennial booklet

This little booklet was commissioned by the Archdiocese of Hobart to commemorate the arrival in 1821 of Tasmania's first Catholic priest. While on the surface a bit of institutional history, this project really gave me the chance to explore what it means to tell the story of an under-documented and much misunderstood figure from 200 years ago. This isn't just the story of a priest, its an exploration of that point where biography and memory meet - and sometimes clash.
